I’m a former BBC News correspondent with 15 years of journalism experience.
As a reporter for BBC Business programs, I often investigated complex economic news stories and then structured, wrote and presented radio and television reports. I am accustomed to analyzing complicated financial details, fact checking and comparing viewpoints from different sources. I’m also sociable by nature and comfortable talking with all types of people.
I’m also experienced structuring longer reports, like the company investigation you require. For Kansas City Public Television (KCPT) I researched, structured, wrote, shot and presented a 30 minute report on how technology is radically changing the way children are learning in classrooms.
I’m currently editorial manager for Midwest Wine Press – a new online publication that covers the art and business of winemaking in the Midwest. I write articles, solicit columns and edit submissions from writers on a daily basis. I profile wineries and write about ‘best practice’ in this growing industry.
I’m confident the diversity of my journalism experience equips me very well to undertake your investigative research.
I look forward to the prospect of finding out more about this job at the interview.
